Crafted Vision
In the heart of the Italian Dolomites, the Cadore region holds generations of craftsmanship. Here, master artisans preserve time-honoured techniques passed down through families, bringing precision and passion to every frame. Their deep knowledge of materials, geometry, and design transforms raw materials into eyewear that reflects both heritage and innovation. These skilled hands don't simply make frames — they bring our vision to life, honouring tradition while creating something distinctly modern.
Premium Italian acetate
Colour, depth and a finish you can feel. We use Italian Mazzucchelli acetate for its rich patterns, lightweight comfort and lasting durability.
With six generations of experience dating back to 1845, Mazzucchelli brings a long tradition of material expertise to the acetate we choose for our collection.
Considered in every detail
A frame should feel as good as it looks. Our stainless steel barrel hinges and hardwearing screws are chosen to keep your glasses secure, comfortable and ready for everyday wear.
From shaping the acetate to the final polish, each stage is carefully considered. It is this attention to the small details that gives every Cubo frame its character.
Designed in London. Made in Italy.
Our frames begin with a design in London. Each prototype is reviewed by our in-house optometrist for its fit, function and appearance before our family-run manufacturing partner in the Italian Alps brings it to life.
From the first components to the finished frame, production takes around three months. Many stages are completed by hand, combining generations of Italian expertise with Cubo’s approach to considered, wearable design.
